Sighted in Albuquerque

Unfortunately, the arthritis is kicking my butt this week. Never even made it onto my computer yesterday. Hoping to be up and around more tomorrow. I better be! It’s my first day visiting with what should be my new ATHA guild here in Region 12, the Adobe Wool Arts Guild which meets here in Albuquerque. I’ll let you know it goes.

In the meantime, these are a few of the things we sighted in our travels this past week here in town. Enjoy the pics!

PS – If anyone would like to tell me how to put two photos next to one another, I’d surely appreciate that. I had to do some wonky stuff just to do this. WordPress used to make it easier.

Those metal flowers would look fun in front of your new house! Wow – that grasshopper is really gnarly looking. We don’t seem to have many here, don’t know why. We have Plenty of other bugs and critters though. Saw a big gang of turkeys when I was out walking the other day. I just love them! Your collection of pictures demonstrates what fun a move is – – – everything is new. ;-D

I’m not sure that I’d call moving “fun,” Deb. But it does have benefits. And new and change are good for the most part. Glad you’re enjoying the photos. We had gaggles of turkeys in Mass, certainly. Haven’t seen them here, but I believe that they may be more north. The guy we’re buying the house from is a big hunter. When we looked at the house, we saw his taxidermied turkeys in the garage. Amongst other animals in a similar state, that is. But what we do have here are roadrunners. They drive the dog crazy, running in front of him when he’s on-leash. I hear they’re kind of mean too. I’ll let you know.
