There’s plenty on the frame today. And on the dining room table too! Am up to my eyeballs in work: 1) finishing a bedsheet rug and 2) going through inventory and re-tagging in order to get ready for Albuquerque’s Rail Yards Market starting (for me) June 5. Then there are the two or three small mats that I have to finish off. If you have a couple of hours and feel like sewing some, give a yell!
Wha’s on your frame today?
Laura,,,,!? Love ur mats!! Colorful and great designs,,,
Thanks, Elaine!
You’ve been hooking! Love them all. Background on what’s on the frame is a Lime green?
Colors are great.Hope you’ll lay them all out or take pics at the rug festival so we can see every
one in total. Which one is bed sheets?
Thanks, Syl. the one with the lime green background is done with sheets (the green happens to be a knit, t-shirt sheet) as is the one in the foreground with brown and blue paisley-like shapes. I’ll have pics, no worries. 🙂
They look like small pieces. Do people ask you what to do with them? I have several quilting buddies who sell small quilts and people ask them if they are potholders!!!! (Quite exquisite potholders!) I found when I sold weaving years ago that if there wasn’t a way to hang them then people were flumoxed. Just curious….
I have had that problem too! Now I try to have a hanging mechanism on the back of the rugs that’ll hang or can be set on a table. Some are sleeved, others have a little ring. There are some large mats too out of sight on the bench. But to sell a big rug is tough. Hell, to sell a small rug is tough too.
