Of course, you like ice cream! Who doesn’t? Now consider combining it with art. Yes! You can do that. Just head into New Mexico’s big sky country, specifically to Cerrillos Hills State Park – it’s just north of Madrid – this Saturday from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. for the Art in the Park and Ice Cream Social. High on Hooking will be there selling and hooking away. Mention this blog piece and get a 10% discount on any item I’ve got under the tent.

Meanwhile, back at the farm…
Below Tynan presents what’s on the frame today. I believe that this one will become a pillow. Almost done, so we’ll know soon. Show us what’s on your frame by posting on High on Hooking’s Facebook page. Happy summer! Now it’s time for ice cream…
He is so cute!! It’s amazing how animals are always drawn to our hooking. When I had dogs they wanted to lay on them, even my cat likes them.
While he’s definitely fond of rugs and other creature comforts, Ruth, he’s also learned that he gets a treat when I get the camera out and have him pose. He’s all about the food. And in this hot weather, he likes the cool tiles. Especially if the fan isn’t on above the bed. 🙂
I like ice cream too much! Sounds like a fun event.
I am not doing any hooking….
I’m back from a week of weaving and writing a post on that. And I’m working on a Santa pattern for a friend’s quilt store, Christmas in July. And the gardens! I feel too busy and I don’t like that. After the 4th I don’t think I will have as much on the to do list.
MY time is just letting me loose for the first time in months, Deb, and it feels great. And vacation next week! I think the pace contributed to a bad RA flare-up the past several weeks. But it’s abating, so here’s to hiking and sitting on the patio with a drink and a book next week. (I do suspect that I’ll lose a lot of plants while I’m away to the heat. Good thing we have a long season and that there will be summer plant sales when I get back.) Here’s to a calmer summer for you too – even if it includes CHristmas in July!
